Yves Saint Laurent X 2

Slated for a 2014 release, there are not one, but two, films being made about iconic fashion designer, Yves Saint Laurent.  The rival biopics are going head to head with one being funded by Francois-Henri Pinault, head of Kering, which owns Saint Laurent.  The other is being supported by Pierre Berge, companion and business partner of the late designer.

Berge is not in support of the Pinault film... not asking for his support/blessings since they wanted creative expression.  Berge is doing everything he can to stop production.
