Jason Wu named artistic director of BOSS

American designer, Jason Wu, has been named artistic director of BOSS, the womens wear division of Hugo Boss.  The first collection for the BOSS label under Wu will be Pre-Fall 2014, and the first runway presentation will be in Feb 14 in New York.

The designer states, " I have been a fan of Hugo Boss' vast tradition and lineage in extraordinary tailoring.  With the state-of-the-art facilities that are unique to Hugo Boss design labs, I plan to develop a strong, feminine womenswear collection that reciprocates the brand's authority in menswear."

Wu will still continue to work on his eponymous label which has been most recognized by dressing Michelle Obama for both inaugural balls.
