Suzy Menkes at Christies

Suzy Menkes has been an  integral  part of the fashion community.  Most recently, she was appointed as the International Fashion Editor of the (new) International New York Times.  Menkes is known for her style as much as her writing, and as a result, Christie's will be hosting an online auction of over 80 pieces of Menkes' wardrobe.  The pieces are results of years of collecting the best in designer clothing and accessories from Chanel to Yves Saint Laurent, to Ossie Clark and Christian Lacroix.

Suzie Menkes has not purged her closet since 1964 and decided to have the auction so others could have some of the joy which experienced with pieces.
