Whether you think it's in or out, it seems like denim isn't a trend or a fad, but a major staple in fashion. Designers like Mary Katranzou will soon be adding denim to her line, and Kris Van Assche used almost all denim in his Spring 13 collection. As a result, British retailer, Selfridges, has decided to create the world's largest denim department.
Starting this June, shoppers can buy from The Denim Studio... it will be 26,000 sq ft with 11,000 pairs of jeans. There will be jeans at every price point, and labels ranging from Levis to Lee, from Citizens of Humanity to Paige, and of course, designers jeans such as Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen.
By the way, the guys will have to wait... The Denim Studio is part of the woman's department.
