Professor Galliano, over before it started. Parsons drops the designer...

Eager students waiting for the John Galliano classes at Parsons recently received a letter from the school stating the workshop has been cancelled.  They would not be working with the infamous designer.

The letter states "It was a condition of our agreeing to host Mr. Galliano that we also hold a larger forum, which would include a frank discussion of his career,” the email states. “Ultimately, an agreement could not be reached with Mr. Galliano regarding the details of that forum, and so the program will not move forward.”
No word about the backlash the school quickly received after announcing the program with John Galliano... or more specifically, the 2000 signature petition for the removal of the designer from the school.
