Lawsuit against NY Fashion Week

A lawsuit has been filed against NYC and Lincoln Center.  The lawsuit accuses the limited access to Damrosch Park (while being used for commercial uses including NY Fashion Week).

The lawsuit was filed in NY Supreme Court by locals of the community, environmental groups, as well as family members of the park.  The lawsuit asks the agreement between Damrosch Park and Lincoln Center be terminated, the park to be restored and no longer used for non-park activities, and any concession revenues from the park should be paid into the city's general fund.

No comment has been made from Lincoln Center.
